The problem is that Vortex doesn't specifically start WOTC, only the main game. With Vortex you can easly activate/deactivate mods, and also manage the loading order of the mods. In this post I have explained how I manage the mods with Vortex. I also use this tool to download Steam Workshop mods I use Vortex for managing the mods (Vortex can be downloaded from the Nexus Mods site). The mods are both from Nexus and Steam Workshop. I'm currently running Xcom 2 (gog version, of course) with 33 active mods. Banryu79: I'm not sure who exactly you are replying to, so I write here just for sharing information.
